Battle of Warsaw (1920)
On the WWI map as “The Battle of Warsaw”
13–25 Aug 1920 — The Red Army reaches Radzymin, on the edge of Warsaw. Then Piłsudski strikes from the Wieprz river and breaks it apart. Poles call the battle the Miracle on the Vistula; it does more than any decision in Paris to settle where Poland’s eastern border will run.
