Battle of Jinzhou (1948)
On the Chinese Revolution map as “Jinzhou”
Oct 1948 — The Liaoshen campaign began at a bottleneck: Jinzhou, the only rail gate between Manchuria and China proper. The city fell in 31 hours, sealing half a million Nationalists beyond it. Taking the gate had cut off the forces inside.
