Kasserine (2011)
8–10 Jan 2011 — Police open fire on funerals and marches in Kasserine, Thala and Regueb. The death toll is disputed: Amnesty International counts at least 25, the government admitted 21, and unions said more than 50. The killings transform a regional revolt into a national one.
